Mr. Ramirez is the distinguished President and CEO for AccuMolecular Diagnostics, Inc. In his capacity, Mr. Ramirez directs an impressive team of Medical and Business professionals. In addition, Mr. Ramirez was elected unanimously by the Investment Group to serve as Chairman of the newly created Board of Directors. Mr. Ramirez has an impressive record of 15 years of accomplishment in the area of Laboratory Executive Management.

As a former senior executive with some of this countries largest medical laboratories, to include Abbott Labs, Johnson & Johnson, Beckman-Coulter Inc, and more recently, Director of Product Development with Impath/Genzyme Genetics. Mr. Ramirez led his management teams in numerous new product introductions that are now considered standards of care, to include among others the introduction of this countries first Prostate Surface Antigen Test (PSA), the first HIV I and HIV II diagnostic tests, the first test to determined heart attacks (Troponin I), the first two genetic tests to determine appropriate targeted therapies in Breast Cancer , Chronic Myelocytic Leukemia , for Hodgkin’s Disease and was senior executive for the introduction of tests to determine Drug Resistant Cancers. Mr. Ramirez is the recipient of the 2006 Presidential Leadership Award.

Mr. Ramirez was named the 2002 Distinguished Alumnus of his Alma Mater, University of Texas El Paso, where he received his B.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Mr. Ramirez is a highly decorated Combat Arms Officer, having served as Commander of a Patriot Missile Battery in Desert Shield/Storm.

Cang Chen, M.D., Ph.D. - Medical Director and Senior Vice-President

Dr. Chen is the distinguished Medical Director of AccuMolecular Diagnostics. In his capacity, Dr. Chen oversees all aspects of the clinical testing processes and provides direction to an impressive array of physician scientists. With over 26 years of clinical experience in the area of DNA and Genetic Testing, Dr. Chen is recognized as a National and International expert in the area of DNA analysis.

Dr. Chen has been the recipient of numerous multi-million dollar grants in support of his research efforts for his work in the area of genomic testing. Dr. Chen is a frequently requested lecturer with over 100 credited publications in major medical journals. In addition, Dr. Chen has received certifications to conduct DNA Testing by Roche Diagnostics, Bayer Diagnostics, Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, GenProbe, DiGene Corp., and Visible Genetics.

Previously, Dr. Chen served as an Associate Research Professor for the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas, where his research efforts were concentrated on Genetic Disease Testing. Dr. Chen is a graduate of the Distinguished Beijing Medical University in Beijing Peoples Republic of China and his Ph.D. is from the University of Tokushima in Tokushima , Japan, graduating with honors.
